Our home is on three levels (from mid August) - your room is privately located on the ground floor with your own courtyard, ensuite bathroom and toilet. Your room comprises a Queen bed with an ensuite bathroom and your own courtyard. We supply all linen, towels and bathrobes as well as complimentary toiletries. The room receives excellent afternoon sun, and for cooler days we provide heating and an electric blanket. The bedroom is a 'cat free zone' - so safe for allergy sufferers.
We provide an 'all day, self serve' continental breakfast of cereals, breads, fruits, juice, teas and fresh coffee in the upstairs kitchen. The newspaper is delivered daily and we have a book exchange.
There is a supply of recent magazines for you to enjoy as well as a selection of New Zealand DVDs. You may also use our wireless internet with your laptop or iPad to check emails or plan your onward journey.

City Bed and Breakfast is located within 5 minutes walk of Wellington's entertainment district. We are adjacent to Courtenay Place and Town Greenbelt. It is less than ten minutes walk to Te Papa, Oriental Bay beach, restaurants, theatres, and all Wellington attractions. There is lots to do in Wellington. There are short walks (including to filming locations for the Lord of the Rings) and day-hikes literally on our doorstep. Te Papa, our national museum, is only 10 minutes walk away as is Oriental Bay and the ever changing waterfront precinct. We are a short stroll from the vibrant café culture of the capital city. Courtenay Place, with its restaurants nightlife, theatres and galleries is only a few minutes walk from our house. We love making rcommendations to our guests.
Easy access to Wellington airport ($5.50 bus, $27 taxi, railway station ($1 bus, $15 taxi), inter-island ferries (free bus to/from railway station or $20 taxi). We provide free car parking and can sometimes offer a free airport transfer.
